Top 9 of 2009!

The new year is rapidly approaching. We're hours away from welcoming 2010- a year of resolutions, great book releases and hopefully a scarce amount of celebrity deaths. I'm more than prepared to say goodbye to 2009- definitely not one of my favorite years- so this is my farewell! Good riddance!

Top 9 personal/blog New Year Resolutions!

1. Finish current WIP- I'm hoping to get it done around mid-January!
2. Begin featuring author interviews- I'm a wimp and I get nervous requesting that kind of stuff. Plain and simple.
3. Find a part-time job. Sure, I'm aiming for author/book cover designer, but I need some cash while I work for it!
4. Host more contests (And international ones!)- This will only happen if #3 comes through. I love ALL of my followers, not just my US peeps, so I want to start giving EVERYONE chances to win!
5. Put together a portfolio- I think I'm fairly decent at the fan art. I'm still crossing my fingers that somebody will ask me to make an official book cover in the future!
6. Go to bed before 4 AM- For real. It doesn't matter what time I lay down, I never conk out until after 4. Not healthy.
7. Attend an author signing!- I haven't had the privilege of meeting any authors yet. When they DO come to Michigan, it's too far from Roseville. Hint, hint author friends. ;)
8. Take my Christmas lights down- Okay, this is an easy one, but last year we kept them up until late May. No kidding. We didn't turn them on or anything, but it's still weird to drive by in 70 degree weather and see candy cane lights hanging from a porch.
9. Think of another resolution for next year- Cause I'm stumped. And I can't think of anything else.

Goodbye 2009! Hopefully 2010 brings me- and all of you!- more luck and happiness! Have a great night, but be safe!
