Fan Art Friday (45)

This week's fan art is based on Wondrous Strange by Lesley Livingston. I struggled with this one quite a bit. I had Kelley and Sonny just standing there in a forest, looking bored. I probably could've added sparkles & wings and made it all pretty. But where's the fun in that? So I decided to do the poster on one of my favorite things about the book: Lucky. The mysterious kelpie that took shelter in Kelley's bathtub. I hope I did the scene, or scenes, justice. I'm not sure how to make a horse look like a kelpie, so don't squash me too much. But onto the fan art..

I realize the quote is from the second book, Darklight, but I wanted something kind of funny and fitting and it definitely fit the bill. Thoughts? Yay kelpie or would you have rather seen the trainwreck that was Kelley and Sonny?
