Fan Art Friday (58)

This week's fan art is based on Enchanted Ivy by Sarah Beth Durst. If you haven't seen my review for the book yesterday, you can click here to read it. It's beyond awesome! On to the art ... I wasn't extremely ecstatic over the outcome of this one. I wanted to put absolutely everything on this poster; Tye, Jake, Lily, the gargoyles, the knights, the fairies, etc. But alas, I didn't have the pictures nor the room to put them. I don't think this looks like an actual movie poster, but I like what I did with it. What say you?

The two gargoyles are the real gargoyles that are characters from the book - The Chained Dragon and Literate Ape. I thought it was a pretty cool visual aid, so I slapped them on there. (And I couldn't possibly resist adding a tiger. Tye. *swoons*)

Yay? Nay? Awesomesauce or epic fail? Comment and let me know!

As always, if you've got fan art that you'd like featured on Fan Art Friday, just shoot me an email at

Happy Weekend!

  3. Amazing! I love your fan art pictures! They're always awesome! :)

  4. Stopping by to say hi and give you a heads up about my upcoming blog tour!!! Hope you will stop by my blog too! My publisher and I are looking for a group of bloggers for a huge blog tour next year before the release of book two in my 'A Sense of Truth' series! We will be giving out a few more copies of The Thirteenth Chime (we can only give out so many, being open to e-books gives an upper hand) and are still open to all interviews and guest posts. We want to fill up the Amazon page with reviews and try to reach as many people as we can!!! Hope you might consider being a part of the team! Thank you either way!
