Happy December!

What with the insanely cold weather and early Holiday spirit this year, today doesn't feel any different from November. But it is. Because it's the first day of December! The month of Christmas and family and snow (which is I'm looking at through my window right this second) and fun! And you know I can't celebrate anything without playing dress-up with my poor blog, right?

I had originally planned this whole scene of characters from YA covers having their own little Christmas party, but the titles and text on covers worked poorly in my favor, so this happened. Not sure what's going on; it's all pretty random. Luce is crying because Santa put a lump of coal in her stocking, Cassia is trying to get out of that damned Christmas ornament, Ellie and Vlad are kind of just chilling there with cool hats and t-shirts and Evie ... I don't know about Evie. But she's got a festive hat on, so cool beans for her.

You know the drill! If the colors are clashing, hurting your eyes or if anything else looks horrifyingly ugly or wrong, comment and let me know. I tried to pick a lighter green that would be easy to read with black text, but then again, my eyesight is most likely a lot different from all of yours.

I've got my first December giveaway planned for either this week or next, and I'll be doing many specific book recommendations for Christmas gifts as well. It's not a huge Holiday blowout, but I hope you'll stay tuned anyway!
