Sequel for Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children!

Yesterday I received an email from my favorite person at Quirk books announcing that one of my favorite books this year, Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs (read my review here) will be getting a sequel! I know many of you shared my hopes that we'd see more of Jacob and the rest of the peculiar children, so I had to post the good news!

Quirk officially announced it here. The book, which is current untitled, will released in Spring 2013. And the author has already collected over a thousand more of those spectacular pictures!

Who is as excited as I am?!

  17. It needs an end! You don't know if the ymbrynes are saved or if the children are going to be affected or die outside their loop. How can they find the ymrynes if they are supposed to die a couple hours outside of a loop? It doesn't mention that...

  23. I'm not sure what the surprise is; it's obvious from the ending that there would be a sequel. I guess the real surprise is that it wasn't ready to roll out a year after the first one.

  31. Never heard of this book until this Christmas when I received it as a gift from my sister-in-law. Absolutely fell in love with the characters but wasn't too enthused over the cliff hanger ending. Cannot wait for book number 2!
