Fan Art Friday (88)

This week's fan art is, once again, based on Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor. (See last week's fan art featuring Karou) I said last week that I wanted to do something with the jar of teeth and once I got that onto the piece, I knew it was missing the wishmonger who collects them - Brimstone. That's probably the poorest execution of Brimstone that you'll see on any fan art piece. He's got a human chest with the head of a ram, but I couldn't find a SINGLE decent ram picture that didn't have six feet of fur surrounding it's face. So I did the whole chest view, minus the scars. The twirly things a the top are supposed to be his horns, if you couldn't figure that out. Yes, this piece is a bit disturbing, but it fits quite nicely with the book, I think. What say you?

    Lori, I wish I had drawing skills too! What I do is totally different - manipulating images. Would love to start doing hand art though!
